- 1 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
- 1 1/3 c. milk
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
Directions

1Preheat oven to 450°.

2Place 1/2 teaspoon oil in each cup or muffin tin.

3Place in oven until hot.

4Combine corn meal and sugar.

5Combine milk and egg; add to dry ingredients; stir until smooth.

6Pour batter into hot pan.

7Bake 15 to 20 minutes.

8Makes 12 large muffins or corn sticks.
