- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 1 1/4 c. sifted flour
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. liquid shortening
Directions

1Blend liquid ingredients into dry ingredients.

2Do not overmix (takes about 1 minute).

3Bake in greased muffin pan at 425° for about 20 to 25 minutes.
