- 1 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 c. milk
- 4 Tbsp. butter, melted
Directions

1Butter muffin pans for 12 muffins.

2In a bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.

3In another bowl, beat the egg, milk and butter. Add the mixtures and stir until just moistened.

4Spoon the batter into muffin cups.

5Bake in a preheated 425 degree oven for 16 minutes or until lightly browned on the edges.
