  • 2 c. Niblets corn
  • 4 egg yolks, beaten lightly
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. butter
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. milk

Directions

    Beat the yolks and corn lightly and set aside.

    Combine the flour, sugar, salt, butter and pepper.

    Add milk slowly, beating until smooth.

    Combine the 2 mixtures and pour into a well-greased casserole dish.

    Bake in a pan of water at 350° for 1 hour or until custard is firm.
