  • 4 Tbsp. softened butter or oleo
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/4 tsp. salt

    Combine ingredients and stir together.

    Pour into a buttered 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

    Bake 30 to 40 minutes in 350° oven until browned lightly, fluffy and firm.
