- 1 1/2 doz. corn ears
- 1 small cabbage, chopped
- 2 green peppers, chopped
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. salt
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne
- 1 bunch celery, chopped
- 4 onions, sliced thin
- 2 qt. vinegar
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. mustard
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric
Directions

1Cut corn from cob.

2Chop vegetables.

3Put in kettle and pour half of vinegar over mixture.

4Mix sugar, flour, salt, mustard, cayenne and turmeric; add the remaining vinegar.

5Combine mixtures and bring to boiling point.

6Simmer 40 minutes.

7Makes 4 to 6 pints.
