Ingredients

  • 1 qt. chopped onions
  • 2 qt. ripe tomatoes, peeled and cut up
  • 14 ears corn, cut from cob
  • 1 sweet (red or green) pepper, cut fine
  • 8 small cukes, sliced thin
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. turmeric
  • 2 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 pt. 5% acid vinegar

Directions

    Put everything in a large pot.

    Cook slowly until tender. Wash and scald 9 pint jars and lids.

    When vegetables are tender, put in jars and seal while hot.

    Makes 9 pints.
