Corn Rice Casserole

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium green pepper
  • 1 c. raw rice
  • 2 small cans tomato sauce
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 c. corn, drained

Directions

    Put chopped onion and green pepper in bottom of 2-quart casserole.

    Cover with rice and corn.

    Cover with 1 can tomato sauce and 1/2 can water.

    Place meat in a layer on top of sauce. Salt and pepper and add Worcestershire sauce, then cover with second can of sauce.

    Cut bacon into strips and cover top.

    Cook covered for 45 minutes at 350°.

    Uncover and pour off grease; cook 15 more minutes.
