  • 3 gal. milk
  • 1-1/4 gal. Canned cream-style corn
  • 1-3/4 cups instant tapioca
  • 1/4 cup dried minced onion
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 cup butter

Directions

    Mix milk, corn, tapioca, onion, salt and pepper in steam-jacketed kettle or large saucepot.

    Bring to boil on medium heat, stirring frequently.

    Add butter.

    Reduce heat to low; simmer, uncovered, 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Thin with additional hot milk, if necessary.
