  • 2 lb. carrots, cut in round pieces
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. Wesson oil
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 3/4 c. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • dash of paprika
  • 1 large green pepper (strips)
  • 1 large onion (strips or rings)

Directions

    Cook carrots with salt until tender; cool and drain.

    Cook sugar, soup, vinegar and seasonings until thick and mustard dissolves.

    In a dish layer carrots, green pepper and onion.

    Pour mixture over, then another layer and more mixture.

    Refrigerate.
