  • 1 corn stick pan (iron)
  • 2 c. water ground corn meal
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp. lard (butter)

Directions

    Beat all together, adding melted lard last!

    Preheat oven to 450°.

    Pour batter into corn stick pan and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

    Makes 1 dozen.
