- 2/3 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 2 Tbsp. diced green chilies (optional)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425°.

2Combine dry ingredients in medium bowl.

3In another bowl, combine milk, butter and egg and blend well.

4Slowly pour into flour mixture, stirring until blended. Stir in green chilies.

5Spoon batter into lightly greased corn shaped molds.

6Bake on lowest rack in 425° oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.

7Makes 12 sticks.
