- 2 c. masa harina tortilla flour
- 1 c. water
Directions

1Combine flour with water.

2Mix with hands until dough is moist but holds its shape (add more water if needed).

3Let stand 5 minutes.

4Divide dough into 12 balls.

5Dampen dough slightly with water.

6Use flat pie pan or rolling pin to press a ball of dough between sheets of waxed paper to a 6-inch round.

7Carefully peel off top sheet of paper.

8Place tortilla, paper side up, on hot ungreased griddle or skillet.

9Gently peel off remaining sheet of paper.

10Cook about 30 seconds or until edges begin to dry.

11Turn. Cook until surface appears puffy.
