- 1 c. flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. shortening
- 1 c. white corn meal
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 8 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. crushed cracklins
Directions

1In a large bowl mix all ingredients together, except cracklins; beat for 1 minute.

2Add cracklins.

3Grease a 12-inch iron skillet or a 13-inch Pyrex dish.

4Pour mixture into pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
