  • 1 c. yellow cornmeal
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 c. buttermilk

Directions
