- 2/3 c. flour
- 1 c. cornmeal
- 1/4 c. sugar
- dash of salt
- 1 egg
- 2/3 c. milk
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 c. oil
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Pour oil in pan (5-inch pan) and place in oven.

3Mix all dry ingredients together.

4Add egg and milk, then stir.

5If consistency is still thick, add more milk.

6Pour oil from pan into cornbread mixture and stir.

7Pour mixture into pan and bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.

8Serves 4.
