- 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c. cornmeal
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. skim milk
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 1/4 c. molasses
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°F.

2Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.

3In a large bowl;

4combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, and baking powder. Make an indentation in center.

5Pour milk, oil, egg and milasses into indentation.

6Mix just until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour into prepared pan.

7Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden.
