Cornbread Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 large pkg. chicken, boiled and deboned
  • 2 (9-inch) pans corn bread
  • 9 large biscuits
  • 6 pieces loaf bread
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. sage
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3/4 c. onion, diced
  • 2 or 3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • milk or water (if needed)
  • 3/4 c. diced celery
  • 1 stick butter or margarine

Directions

    Crumble the 3 breads together in large pan.

    Add eggs, sage, salt, pepper, onion, celery and melted butter.

    Mix in together the chicken broth, water and milk.

    Add mayonnaise.

    Mix together. Will be thin.

    Bake in 400° oven for 1 hour.

    May be poured into several pans.

    Can freeze what you don't use.
