  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • broth from boiled chicken
  • 1 recipe cornbread
  • 5 slices light bread
  • 2 Tbsp. poultry seasoning
  • salt to taste
  • pinch of sage to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 6 hard-boiled eggs, finely chopped
  • 2 c. cooked chicken, chopped (bite size)

Directions

    Partly cook onion and celery in broth.

    In a large bowl crumble cornbread and light bread.

    Add seasonings.

    Add cooked onion and celery and enough broth to make a medium consistency. Add the chopped eggs and chicken, mix real good.

    Bake at 350° until firm, but soft.
