- 3 1/2 c. cornbread crumbs*
- 3 1/2 c. white bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. salt
- 3 tsp. sage
- 1 qt. turkey/chicken broth (more liquid may be added if moist dressing is desired)
Directions

1Mix bread crumbs in a large bowl.

2Saute celery in butter until tender, yet crisp.

3Mix the egg into the milk until it is well beaten.

4Add all the ingredients to the bread crumbs and mix well.

5Bake in a shallow greased pan at 400° for 30 to 45 minutes or until mixture is as dry as you like it. It will dry a little after removed from the oven.
