  • 2 recipes cornbread, made with buttermilk and no eggs
  • 1 large loaf white bread (day old works best), toasted until dry and crumbled
  • 2 bunches celery, chopped
  • 5 large onions, chopped
  • 5 cans chicken broth
  • 6 eggs
  • salt, pepper and sage to taste

    Crumble cornbread and white bread; mix together.

    Wet with hot chicken broth.

    Stir well; let sit to blend flavors.
