Cornbread Dressing

  • 1 pan cooked cornbread
  • 2 slices bread or hamburger buns
  • 4 eggs (I use Egg Beaters)
  • 1 bunch green onions
  • 3/4 to 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 tsp. sage
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • chicken broth

Directions

    Mix cornbread, bread, eggs and sage.

    I usually parboil onions and celery in broth to reduce cooking time.
  3. 3
    Add onions and celery and enough broth to make it soupy.

    Salt and pepper to taste.

    Bake in a 400° oven until brown.

    (I usually place pieces of boned cooked chicken throughout before baking.)
