- turkey or chicken
- 4 c. self-rising cornmeal
- 1/3 c. oil
- water
- 1 pkg. stuffing mix, seasoned with sage
- 2 Tbsp. sage
- celery to taste
- onion to taste
- 5 eggs
Directions

1Cook giblets from turkey or chicken; save broth.

2Mix cornmeal, oil and enough water to blend thoroughly.

3Bake mixture at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.

4Remove and cool.

5In large bowl, mix cooled, baked cornmeal mixture with stuffing mix.

6Add sage, celery and onion.

7Pour in broth.

8Dressing should be moist. Whisk the eggs through mixture.

9Stuff turkey and bake.
