Cornbread Dressing

- 2 (9-inch) pans baked cornbread
- 6 slices bread
- 2 c. chopped celery
- 3 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 2 to 3 c. broth
- 2 eggs
- 2 hard-cooked eggs
Directions

1Saute onions and celery until yellow and limp.

2Crumple cornbread into the onion mixture.

3Tear bread into fine pieces and add to mixture.

4Add broth until mixture is moist, but loosely packed (about 1 1/2 to 2 cups).

5Add chopped hard-cooked eggs and slightly beaten eggs.

6Season with salt and pepper.* Pour into buttered baking dish.

7Cover with oil.

8Bake 45 minutes at 325°.
