Cornbread Dressing(Southern Style)

- crumbled cornbread
- 1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 3 c. stock
- 3 bouillon cubes
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 chicken, boiled
- 1/3 c. chopped onions
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. sage or poultry seasoning
Directions

1Tear meat away from boiled chicken.

2Break into small pieces. Beat eggs slightly.

3Combine all ingredients and mix well.

4Pack lightly in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

5Bake at 325° for 40 to 45 minutes.

6Dressing may be cooked in the bird before roasting. Double the recipe for large birds.
