- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 cup self-rising cornmeal (either way)
- 12 cup sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 1 12 cups water
Directions

1Mix dry ingredients together then add liquids.

2Melt 1/4 cup Crisco in 9 by 13 inch pan, (glass or metal) and pour mixture over top of very hot, melted crisco.

3Don't over stir mixture.

4Bake in 425 degree oven for approximately 30-40 minutes.

5(depending on oven).

6Great just from the oven or cold.
