  • cornbread mix or your basic cornbread recipe (self-rising cornbread), about 2 c.
  • 1 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. melted shortening
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • green peppers
  • green onions
  • cucumbers
  • tomatoes
  • 1 bottle (16 oz.) cucumber Ranch dressing

Directions

    Bake your cornbread at 450° until golden brown.

    Cool your cornbread, then crumble into large mixing bowl.

    Chop green peppers, green onions, cucumbers and tomatoes; mix all the ingredients together and pour dressing over top; stir well and chill.
