- 6 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. Crisco
- 2 c. warm water (115~ to 118~)
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
Directions

1Mix dry yeast and water; add sugar, salt, Crisco and flour. Mix well.

2Place dough in bowl; let rest 15 minutes.

3Knead well. Let rise about 45 minutes.

4Knead again; shape.

5Divide evenly into 12 balls.

6Cut each ball in half.

7With rolling pin or pasta machine roll each piece to 6 inches by 5 inches.

8Roll the 5 inch side up in jelly roll fashion.

9Take another ball and do the same. Put the two together and pinch center well.

10Make sure one corner stands up.

11Place the 6 cornetti on ungreased cookie sheets.

12Let rise to double in size.

13Bake at 375° for 35 minutes.
