- 4 Cornish hens (1 to 1 1/4 lb. each)
- melted butter or margarine
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/3 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp. ginger
Directions

1Thaw hens, if frozen.

2Heat oven to 350°.

3Wash hens and pat dry.

4Place, breast side up, on rack in open, shallow roasting pan.

5Brush with butter.

6Do not add water.

7Do not cover.

8Roast for 1 hour, brushing with butter.
