  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. cornmeal
  • 1/3 c. shortening
  • 2/3 c. milk

    Add milk and stir until moist. Turn out on floured surface and knead about 20 times.

    Pat to 1/2-inch thick.
