- 1/4 qt. flour
- 1/8 qt. baking powder
- 1/8 qt. salt
- 1/8 qt. sugar
- 1 egg
- 50 oil
- 200 milk
- 125 cornmeal
Directions

1Dry Mixture: Set oven to 400F and grease muffin pan.

2Sift dry ingredients together in a large bowl.

3Moist Mixture: Stir moist mxture together with a fork and let sit 5 minutes.

4Add moist mixture to dry mixture all at once, and stir with a spatula until just combined.

5Drop by 2 spoons into 6 muffin cups.

6Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.

7Cook on wire rack.

8Serve with butter.
