- 1/3 c. cornmeal
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 2 c. milk
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 cake yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 4 c. flour
Directions

1Cook first 5 ingredients until thick.

2Cool until lukewarm. Combine eggs and yeast in warm water with sugar.

3Mix well and add to other mixture.

4Then add flour to make a soft dough.

5Knead and place in greased bowl.

6Cover and let rise one hour.

7Punch down and roll out.

8Cut with biscuit cutter.

9Brush with butter and fold over as Parker House rolls.

10Place on a greased cookie sheet.

11Let rise until doubled.

12Bake at 375° for 15 minutes.

13Makes about 30 rolls.
