- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. cornmeal
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. milk
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 3 eggs
- 4 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Mix sugar, butter, cornmeal, salt and milk together and cook into a thin mush.

2Cool.

3Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.

4Beat eggs well.

5Add yeast and eggs to the cooled mush mixture.

6Add flour.

7Knead into a soft dough.

8Let dough rise until double in bulk.

9Shape into rolls and bake at 375° until golden.
