- 1 3/4 c. milk
- 1/2 c. cornmeal
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 egg yolks, beaten
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 3 egg whites
- melted butter
Directions

1Scald milk in saucepan.

2Add cornmeal and cook, stirring constantly until thick.

3Mix in sugar and salt.

4Mix small amount of hot cornmeal mixture with egg yolks; return to saucepan and mix thoroughly.

5Stir in butter and cottage cheese.

6Beat egg whites until stiff.

7Gradually fold in cornmeal mixture.

8Pour into baking dish and bake 35 minutes.

9Serve with melted butter.
