- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 pt. stock or water
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lb. cooked ground meat
- 1 lb. potatoes
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- milk
Directions

1Fry onion and first 2 tablespoons of butter.

2Stir in flour. Add stock gradually until mixture thickens.

3Season.

4Add meat. Place mixture in well-greased pie dish.

5Boil potatoes.

6Mash with remaining margarine and milk.

7Spread over meat mixture. Bake at 400° for 30 minutes.

8Serves 3 to 4.
