  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
  • 5 c. peeled, sliced apples
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. whipping cream
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Arrange apples in pie shell.

    Mix together and pour over apples, the sugar (3/4 cup), flour, salt, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and the whipping cream.

    Mix together the 1 tablespoon sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon and sprinkle over top of pie.

    Bake at 400° for 50 to 60 minutes.
