- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. reduced-calorie margarine, melted
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. dried whole basil
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. dried whole oregano
- 1/2 tsp. dried whole thyme
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained and chopped
- 1 (8 oz.) can red kidney beans, undrained
Directions

1Saute onion and garlic in margarine in a large saucepan until tender.

2Add salt, basil, chili powder, oregano, thyme and pepper, stirring well.

3Stir in tomatoes and beans.

4Simmer, uncovered, for 10 to 15 minutes.

5Serve hot.
