  • 3 c. sliced cooked beets
  • 1 c. liquid (beet juice and water)
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/3 c. vinegar

Directions

    Heat together beets and beet juice and water; mix together and stir in flour, sugar salt, pepper and vinegar.

    Cook, stirring constantly until smoothly blended and thickened.
