  • 6 eggs
  • 9 slices bread
  • cubed ham or sausage, cooked
  • 2 1/2 c. milk
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
  • 1 stick margarine

Directions

    Grease 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Cube 7 slices bread and line pan. Spread cheese over bread, then meat.

    Beat eggs, milk, salt, pepper and mustard.

    Pour over all.

    Melt margarine and pour over all.

    Cube 2 slices bread and set on top until well soaked. Refrigerate overnight.

    Bake at 325° for 1 hour.
