- 2 pkg. active dry yeast
- 2 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 6 to 6 1/2 c. Gold Medal flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water in a large bowl.

2Stir in sugar, salt, eggs, 1/4 cup oil and 3 cups flour.

3Beat until smooth.

4Mix in enough flour to make dough easy to handle.

5Cover and let rise in a warm place until double in size (about 1 hour).

6Punch down and divide in half.

7Roll each half into an 18 x 9-inch rectangle. Roll each half up tightly.

8Place loaves seam side down into 9 x 5 x 2-inch greased baking pans.

9Brush with oil.

10Let rise (about 1 hour).

11Heat oven to 375°.

12Bake until loaves are golden brown, about 30 to 35 minutes.

13Makes 2 large loaves.
