- 3/4 c. yellow corn meal
- 3/4 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- 1/2 medium red bell pepper, diced
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 (8 1/2 to 8 3/4 oz.) can cream-style corn
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 egg
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2Grease well 14 corn stick molds.

3Place in oven while preparing batter.

4In large bowl, mix corn meal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

5In small skillet, add oil and cook pepper and onions until tender.

6Remove skillet from heat.

7Stir in corn and milk, then egg until mixed; stir into dry ingredients until batter is just blended.

8Spoon batter into preheated molds.

9Bake 15 minutes or until done.

10Cool in molds on wire rack 5 minutes.

11Remove from molds.
