- 1 1/2 lb. venison
- 3/4 c. sweet milk
- salt and pepper
- self-rising flour
- cooking oil
Directions

1Wash steak; drain.

2Salt and pepper to taste and let stand for 15 minutes.

3Dip in milk, then dredge with flour.

4Heat cooking oil until hot.

5Place steak in pan and fry until done and brown. Drain oil, leaving a small amount in pan.

6Mix 1 cup water and 1 cup milk.

7Pour over steak and cook until thickened.
