Country Ham Stuffing

Ingredients
- 2 pkg. seasoned stuffing cubes
- 1 1/2 c. cubed fully cooked ham
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 3 c. chopped onion
- 2 c. chopped celery
- 1 1/2 tsp. rubbed sage
- 1 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 to 1 1/2 c. chicken broth
Directions

1Place stuffing into a large bowl; set aside.

2In a large skillet, cook ham in butter for 5 to 10 minutes or until edges are crisp.

3Remove with a slotted spoon and place over stuffing.

4In the same skillet, saute the onion, celery, sage, thyme and pepper until vegetables are tender.

5Toss with bread and ham.

6Stir in enough broth to moisten.

7Bake in a covered baking dish at 325° for 70 minutes (uncover for the last 10 minutes) or stuff a turkey (12 to 14 pound).

8Very good stuffing, even my Dad likes this.
