Ingredients

  • 6 or 7 medium potatoes
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 3 Tbsp. onion, grated
  • 1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/2 Tbsp. pepper
  • 1 c. corn flakes, crushed
  • 3 Tbsp. butter

Directions

    Boil potatoes, with skins on, for 20 minutes.

    Cool.

    Peel and grate potatoes.

    Heat together oleo and soup.

    Add onion, grated cheese, sour cream, salt and pepper.

    Mix with potatoes in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

    Mix together corn flakes and butter.

    Put on top of mixture.

    Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes.

    Can be refrigerated overnight.
