- 2 1/2 c. corn kernels
- 6 slices bacon
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1In large skillet, cook bacon until crisp.

2Remove from skillet; drain on paper towels.

3Pour off all but 3 tablespoons bacon drippings from skillet.

4Add corn, water, sugar, salt and pepper to skillet.

5Cook, stirring frequently, 15 to 20 minutes or until corn is tender.

6Crumble bacon and add to skillet.

7Cook, stirring, about 1 minute.
