- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

1Combine all ingredients in large bowl, season brisket 12 to 24 hours before cooking on the grill or in the smoker. To help the dry rub adhere, lightly rub the meat with a little olive oil before shaking rub on.
