Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 c. barbecue sauce
  • 1 med. onion, diced
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. celery seed
  • 2 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1/4 c. dark molasses
  • 16 oz. can pork & beans
  • 16 oz. can navy beans
  • 32 oz. can pinto beans
  • 8 oz. can mushroom pieces

    In a large Dutch oven, brown beef, drain fat.

    Add barbecue sauce onion, garlic salt, celery seed, mustard, molasses, beans and mushrooms to the beef mixture.

    Stir well.

    Bring to a boil.

    Then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.

    Serve with cornbread and a green salad for a wonderful meal.
