  • 2 cup crab meat
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 small egg, beaten
  • 1 cup bread crumbs, divided
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter

Directions

    mix crab meat, mayo, 1/4 c. bread crumbs, salt, pepper, and about half of the beaten egg with fork.

    spread remaining bread crumbs on a plate.

    heat butter and olive oil in a saute pan over medium.

    form crab mixture into 6-8 patties and dredge in remaining 3/4 c. bread crumbs.

    when pan is hot, place crab cakes in pan and cook until golden brown, about 4 minutes per side.
