- 2 cup crab meat
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 small egg, beaten
- 1 cup bread crumbs, divided
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
Directions

1mix crab meat, mayo, 1/4 c. bread crumbs, salt, pepper, and about half of the beaten egg with fork.

2spread remaining bread crumbs on a plate.

3heat butter and olive oil in a saute pan over medium.

4form crab mixture into 6-8 patties and dredge in remaining 3/4 c. bread crumbs.

5when pan is hot, place crab cakes in pan and cook until golden brown, about 4 minutes per side.
