Crab Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. crabmeat
  • 1 large onion
  • 4 stalks celery
  • 2 pods garlic
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • enough milk to moisten
  • salt and pepper to taste or seafood seasoning (optional)
  • 1 c. bread crumbs plus bread crumbs for top

Directions

    Chop onion, celery and parsley finely.

    Saute in oleo.

    When thoroughly cooked, add 1 cup crabmeat, bread crumbs, 2 slightly beaten eggs, Worcestershire sauce and seasonings.

    Add milk to moisten.

    Bake in greased casserole in moderate oven 20 to 30 minutes.

    Top with bread crumbs and dot with butter; return to oven only long enough to melt butter.

    Serves 4 to 6.
