- 1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
- 2 c. medium white sauce
- 2 egg yolks, beaten
- 2 c. crabmeat (fresh, canned or imitation)
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs (white bread)
- cayenne pepper (optional)
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Add cheese to white sauce.

2Stir until well melted.

3Remove from heat.

4Add to beaten egg yolks gradually.

5Add crabmeat. Turn into casserole. Mix butter with bread crumbs and garnish.

6Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
